• Choose an Applicator: Apply the toothpaste to a toothbrush, nubby-surfaced rubber cap, a washcloth, or a piece of gauze wrapped around your finger.
• Positioning: Position yourself and your cat comfortably so that you can access the cat's teeth with ease.
• Begin Brushing: Lift your cat's upper lips gently and start brushing in a circular motion, similar to how you would brush your own teeth.
• Focus on Gum-Line: Be sure to brush where the tooth meets the gum-line to effectively clean the teeth.
• Don't Forget Back Teeth: Pay special attention to the very back teeth, as these are areas where your cat is most likely to develop dental problems.
• Repeat for Bottom Teeth: After finishing the top teeth, move on to the bottom teeth for thorough dental care.
